I can't even take a piece of thread?! hide Da Hook under me....Yeah, yeah, I'll probably be clothed in loops but can I have a piece peace of the stitch?

It's late now, and I gotta tell ya about this convo at like 8:55pm.  I'm getting a little upset that my two youngest haven't come back home from trick or treating.  Yeah, they may have been with an adult but

this adult

wants them home.  So, I get about 2 yards and a lady asks me:  "What are you suppose to be dressed like?" excuse me, do I look like I'm in the mood--ok, ok I had one piece of crochet over my shoulders but I wasn't costumey.  So, what was I suppose to be dressed like--

"a Parent!" I told her

(yeah, me too--I'm a parent she says.)

yep....I should've said a mother bear enraged in her mind ready to protect her cubs, wherever they may be.

They showed up a minute later.  I couldn't punish them, but I don't like having to go into warrior mode just because my children got a little careless.  It's hard to shake, ya know. (The oldest one is still out there until 11ish....now, don't think I won't bring up the fact this is a school night and when I say do your chores, I don't want to hear you're tired and you got to go to school the next day....)  Momma's tired too and wishes someone will tuck her in....opps, hi Hubby! yikes! Sneaking in like the Matrix.

What a pleasant surprise--No!--AWESOME gift I rec'd!

I had my doctor's appointment and one of their associates. Ms. Wray--RAY of Sunshine--came running out "Girl, look what I got for you!"  I saw this and said "This is Gina!!!!!"

blush and single tear time....It's wonderful to be loved!

She's always commenting or complimenting me on my awesome crochet ensembles I wear 3 times a week for my visits even so now I sign in as "GinaRenay B. Awed"  yougogirl! ha

A gentleman noticed my dangling crochet anklet and remarked, "Hey, what's that growing from her leg?!"

Yessir! I spoke with tech support for my laptop and am BACK ONLINE!!!  Plus, I found my digital camera and cell phone....Now, with yesterday's restorative resting, I can face this new week quite refreshed...for now, smile.

SubUrban Underground had another serious turnout of incredible talented folks: artists, designers, models, photographers, dj, entrepreneurs, singing/rapping duo--oh, they're gonna kill me:  I remember Z's name.  Yep, Z, not Z-e-e but Z and friend.  Z's friend don't kill me!  2 beautiful sistahs singing about Haters....oh yeah, those sipping on that ade can just sip to their heart's content around the corner or someplace--leave me  alone!! ha 

Brian Wade--thank you so much for putting together such an electic, fun group of folks!!!!  I got my networking on!  Shy twin RE~Gina wouldn't get out of the car so I had to represent all by my lonesome, waaah.  I made some positive hook-ups:  appreciate my lovely models, E-Londa, Ms. Unique, Z--ooooh, Ms. Lady-I-forgot-your-name-but-I-know-your-face is  gonna kill me--yo!

I left my camera--well, it left me: still playing that hide-n-seek game.  I'm not laughing.  I miss my camera.  Will that bring her/him/it closer?  I guess I just have to dig deeper into the yarn and hooks. 

Girl!, I hide stuff from myself--no wonder this sign is outside my door...er, which door?  Yarn and hooks are everywhere!  Maybe, it should be outside my house door, nah that'll scare folks away.  It'll keep the thieves away, yeah, um no--stop the RANDOM madness.  My oldest daughter just shakes her head in disbelief at the effect this sniffing at dem fibers disease has taken on me (crochet mad woman disease) and then badgering me about not taking my medicine.  For what?!  I don't want to be cured, I don't want to be cured! That's why I go on tv and make a complete Hook out of myself!!!!  Oh well, Doc says I can still function (no one said "fully") in society. 

All in all, I had a wonderful time and I'm being seen and heard, even if the designs are speaking forth style-nese.  Ooooh, I like that language:  birth of a new language, answering in crochet. More fiber pleeze....

A sweet lady hugged me today at work...Well, not quite a title echoing my life today but I just thought about it and felt it was appropro. I soooo neeeeeed that! Calgon, take me away. First, I better go home, ha.

I rec'd this in my email today--so timely!  Just dropped off one child at the movies--the 2 youngest are with me, hungry!  I am at the library--3 of our 4 computers are down, waaaah!  Pity party but I won't BE more pitiable.  I need 2 more hands; still need rest for tomorrow's SubUrban Underground taping and fashion show at Studioplex.  I'm beat....Give myself more time.  Who'll parent the gifted adult?!

Lady at Sally's remembered me and my girls--"I see you can get out--where  are the girls?"  In the trunk....

Ooooh Here we go--another upcoming event on the horizon, cool loopy loops!!! A fashion show/charity event is being sponsored by the Zeta Phi Beta Society to raise money to build water wells in Ghana...Awesome! NOVEMBER 16, 2006 at The Signature Room.  The coordinator loves my work--go Gina it's your birthday, we're gonna party like it's y0ur b-day...sip the fibers----ooooh, hic foaming at Dat Hook, I feel ya! So much CROCHET ON THE BRAIN--quick, a lobotomy is in order

Speaking of doctors, I had an appt today but since this was his new location, I was trying to find it for a hour!  I was not a happy camper! I was highly agitated and no hook in sight.  I got orders to fill and wasting time, energy and gas: this  was not a good show.  I should have slowed down and breathed.  No, I should have went home!

I wore a new crochet outfit--a shawl, beige and cowrie flower--today but unfortunately Hide 'n Seek Camera is still a no-show.  waaaah, this is not good.  Plus both of my computers are down--I'm on my oldest's--you know the 14 year old going on 45.  But she does wear my designs and gets me orders so can't say anything bad about her.  She calls me Psycho, hey Psycho Hook Throwin' Down Mad Skills, (P-Hook) I like.....

She reminded me of my 9 am psych ward apptmt--you know I didn't go!  I'm as sane as they come, just because I have the Mad Crochet Woman Disease doesn't mean I can't operate fully in today's society, with my twitchs and all..  I hear they got shots for that!  Don't expect me to take any.  Let the madness run its course.

Tonight I met with Jovan, CEO of Crowd Motivator.  His company specializes in event planning and promotion.  I got a date for a fashion show, DEC. 5TH!!!  Woooooohoooooo!

I'm wore out--so many things to plan and so little time!
